"Daddy's Work" by miladygrey. Oh it's fluff, but great, amazing, wonderful fluff. Set when Sydney is a child, after Irina had "died" and Jack watches his daughter's tea party. Loveliness.
Illusions, Dreams, Fantasies, Revelations, and Shadows by Rhien Elleth. It's Sarkney at it's most naughty and wonderful. Five stories in this series that can be stand alone or read together for total enjoyment. I love it.
The Matrilineal Series by Em and Macha. Sydney after her time in CIA. Sydney/Vaughn. It's so perfectly written and enjoyable. It's a collaboration where each story is told from differing characters and continues to move the main plot forward. Definitely enjoyable--and I hate a lot of Vaughn stuff so go figure.
I Am Not Without Scars by Oracle. Sark. Starts with this wonderful line that had me hooked, "'I am not without scars, Miss Bristow.' It is possibly the very last thing I expected him to say." A nice short story full of Sark. And I love some well-written Sark.
Soap Opera by Yahtzee. Sweiss. Fluffy, wonderful Sweiss. Need I say more?
Between Past and Present Tense (The Story About Girlfriends Remix) by Shaye. Angsty and heartbreaking how much Weiss cares about Vaughn while Vaughn unravels after Sydney's disappearance. A remix of zara hemla's original story (which is equally wonderful in its own ways).
In Case of An Emergency by shrift. Just the summary of the story would hook you: Terrorists, Syd. They've taken over your bathroom and they're demanding beer. Sydney and Weiss. Much fun over a broken toilet.
Overturn by Jaime. Will with mention of Will/Sydney - There isn't enough Will fiction out there if you ask me (though no one ever does) and I enjoyed this look at his first days living as "jonah."
Hard Boiled Vs. Sunny-Side Up by yahtzee63. Sark and Marshall. If you haven't watched season 4 premiere yet, this story is a slight spoiler for it. " How do you bring that up in conversation? Like at a bar - Hey, I'm Julian, I'm evil and I'm a Pisces, something like that? Or maybe you guys meet through the personals. Evil Single Male seeks Evil Single Female for long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, world domination."
The Was, The Is, and the Will Be by quiet_rebel. Sarkney. Okay, so yes, this was the story written for me during the Sarkney ficathon, but it's yummy. Set during Syd's missing years, in order to prepare to become Julia fully, she shares an evening with Sark. Her Sark is cheeky and hot and her Sydney is trying to do what she has to. Love it!
A Shift In The Wind (the pretentious literati remix) by voluese. Sydney angst set during season 3. This is a remix of my story Shift in the Wind and it's beyond bloody brilliant, going even further with Sydney's attempts at retreating into books. Read it! You won't be disappointed, especially if you've read my story because hers is so much...gah!
Mistake by carmen_sandiego. Sydney/Weiss. Eric's not sure if going for it is a good idea. It's a ficlet, but a ficlet that packs a punch. He most definitely should have known better about a minute after that, when she stood beside him and put the lettuce on the cutting board in front of him, and he couldn't remember what he was supposed to do with it. He'd just bent towards her and pressed his lips to hers, slid his hands around her waist and kissed her like he'd just been given an executive order to do so.
**
Worth It - by featherjean. Lee/Kara. It's merely a ficlet, but very potent. Loved the Lee characterization in particular.
Children of the Revolution by plumunited. Set during the miniseries & first half of the season. Various looks at the situation from the minor characters. This piece is so good and a definite read if you love the show.
In the Still of the Night by hackthis. Short Kara piece set in the midst of the going ons in season two. The Kara voice is this piece is spot on.
Close to Bitter by voleuse. The story of the five people Lee *never* frakked. It's wonderful and an interesting look at my favorite CAG.
20 Random Facts About Battlestar Galatica by bantha_fodder. Like those livejournal 20 facts memes, this reads like basic information that could be for the show. Some of them are dead-on and some of them made me giggle. Definitely worth a read.
**
Big Rock Candy Mountain: Five things that never happened to Andrew Wells by Bas. Andrew POV - This story is wonderful and inventive and falls withing such realms of possibility while still being A/U. Not enough written from Andrew's POV
**
No Fate by jenna51980. I stumbled upon this story when it was a few chapters in because I'm a Chris zealot and always looking for a new fix. And this story? Does Chris so much justice. It begins with him facing moving on or going back to the future and his decision to protect his family even from the grave. And this leads both his family and him on a journey to face his destiny and the future where Wyatt might not have been saved after all. It's a great story that is complete now and I can't recommend this enough. The way she explains how Wyatt went bad and the pressure that Chris carries on his shoulders - it's amazing. COMPLETE WIP.
When We Were Diving Gold and Pearling In The Waves by K. Prue, Adult!Chris. Piper has experiences with the people she misses most during her sleep. It's just a great read.
AfterLife by Ladybug218. Prue/Andy, Adult!Chris. A very real possibility for what happened to Chris after the season six finale and who he met along the way. Loved it. "When the Angel of Death had first appeared to her in the living room of the manor where she had resided with her sisters, she was resistant. Her sisters needed her, she argued. She was a Charmed One and by taking her, the Angel of Death would upset the balance between good and evil, giving evil the upper hand and wasn't he supposed to be neutral she questioned as he led her towards the swirling vortex. He just smiled his serene smile and took her hand and led her into the vortex. She cast a quick look over her shoulder and saw Leo arrive and begin healing Piper. Then the vortex closed and she was surrounded by bright lights."
He Did It For Me by Teal-Lover, features everyone. Big Chris managed to save the future...but now things have spiraled out of control and the family finds out about a prophecy and elders plotting and much anger & loss. Oh, it's overrun with angst. A lot of angst. Hits you right in the first chapter and just keeps building and building. Incomplete, but it's 34 chapters in and author seems to update semi-frequently.
Between Memory and A Dream by Ladybug218. Chris, Piper. So I might be a bit biased as this was written for me and she rocks something awful, but it's wonderful. After adult!Chris' death, Piper recalls things a bit differently thanks to the avatars.
Behind Blue Eyes by dragonsinger. Chris, Chris/Bianca mentions. Set during the Chris-Crossed time, dragonsinger creates a wonderful look at Chris' pain in trying to keep his secret and a bit of the loss he endured in his future.

Ninety Seven Bottles of Beer on the Wall - by trajictle. BSG/Alias crossover. Upon reaching earth, Kara meets Eric at a bar one night. Snark ensues.
Drunk With the Only Saints I Know by minervacat. Boondock Saints/Angel Crossover. Never imagined a crossover like this and it nearly killed me dead! Great, great story!
Thirty-Five Minutes by addictedkitten. O.C./Alias crossover. Seth meets Sark on a plane. Conversation and chemistry ensues. "Mr. Sark, okay, I like it. Sort of non-specifically threatening. It works for you. I can tell you've thought about this before."
Six Days Later by addictedkitten. O.C./Alias crossover. Sequel to 35 minutes. I think Seth/Sark is my new OTP. The hotness, the chemistry, the banter! I love it. Go read it!
Dive-Bomb! by Shaye. Wonderfalls/Sports Night crossover. Sharon meets Natalie, Jaye shows up. Perfect Sharon voice. Love it and wish that only there was more wonderfalls crossovers or fic in general.
Drink Up, Look At the Stars by buggs. Farscape/Stargate Atlantis crossover. During Crichton's return to earth with the alien crew, John Sheppard is assigned as his guard and finds himself dying of boredom while trying to understand Crichton's deal. It's just...Sheppard and crichton conversing makes me happy.
Life Advice by Jules. Firefly/Farscape crossover. Drunk at a bar Jayne gets advice from our favorite Luxon. Fun ensues and lotsa giggles. If you like either of these characters (even if you don't know the other), go read. It's worth it.
In the Black by feldman. Firefly/Farscape crossover. John Crichton meets River Tam and I'm still not sure which of them is crazier, Crichton with Harvey in his head or River after all that she's endured. Perfect voices and interesting interaction.
Slave to Time by crankygrrl. Battlestar Galatica/Farscape crossover. Crichton's on a mission to save Starbuck before all time ends. The voices in this are dead-on and the story is so plausible that I want it!
Resting Place by Vaznetti. Battlestar Galatica/Firefly crossover. Oh my god. This is just perfect. The Firefly crew attempted to escape from the Alliance only to arrive in time for the cylons attack...and now they're aiding the President and Captain Apollo in their attempts to remain free from jail. Go read this. Trust your Tommy. It's freaking fantabulous!
**
Five Things That Never Happened to True Danziger by A.J. This is the story that was written for me during Yuletide 2004 and I can't recommend it enough. It's a wonderful look at True's character and all those possibilities had the show lasted or one small thing had been different.
Dark & Light by Maggie C. Set at the beginning of its season, this explores what happened if Gaal had been able to hurt True before the Terrians attacked him. Danziger is in mourning, can anyone help him through it?
**
You've Got A Pretty Bad Poker Face by throughadoor. Vince & Eric. A prequel of the show. Vince shows up at Eric's work and somehow Eric ends up agreeing to move out to Los Angeles. The characters are dead on and everyone should love all prequel stuff.
Every Color Goes Where You Do by smartlikejustin. Vince & Eric. Another prequel to the show. While Eric is out "visiting," he ends up having to bail Vince out of jail for drunk and disorderly. Fun ensues.
**
Personal Belongings by Ruby Garnet. Okay I might be a bit impartial because this was the story written for me, but it's wonderful. Written from Christopher's point of view as he returns to Star's Hollow to visit with Rory and encounters Luke/Lorelai firsthand. I love, love, love it! I mean, Christopher (hotness) and Luke (loveliness) in one story!
I Don't Know Why Sometimes I Get Frightened by Shaye. Not only is the GG-speak perfect in this story, like something out of an episode, but the whole Luke/Lorelai storyline is amazingly well written. Luke and Lorelai on their official first date where chaos, of course, ensues.
Standing Still by Carrie. Luke and Lorelai as they deal with Lorelai's commitment issues. Wonderful guest appearance by Emily Gilmore, which is written so wonderfully.
We Dance To Slow Songs by legalblonde2005. Oh wow. This story is just...beautifully written and angsty and perfect. It follows Luke and Lorelais relationship in all its pain and great moments after that first kiss.
With All My Heart by spy barbie. Another Luke/Lorelai first date that utilizes some of those fabulous points that Rory made in the finale like, "When you're with Luke, you're with Luke." Most entertaining and well written.
Shaking In Her Shoes by alianora. (luke/lorelai) - So perfectly Lorelai in this story. Love the whole shoe debacle issue in this and, of course, the Luke/Lorelai squee-worthyness of the whole thing.
Tomorrow by Tracy. Luke/Lorelai. A sweet future fic about the Gilmore-Danes family. Read it and love it!

Black
Moon (Part I)
Black
Moon (Part II) by Julie Fortune. The perfect Remus/Sirius story.
Seriously. I think she's the queen of writing amazing angst.
Definite must read. Love it.
The Between Time by Circe. Remus/Sirius. Eek gads. It's amazing. Angsty and wonderful and all those things that remus/sirius should be.
Lightning Letters by Ari Munami. Draco/Harry (My OTP-heh). Eek gads. Brilliant use of Draco's portrait and such. I loved it--and there is a wonderful twist to the story. Multi-chapter (five, I believe).
Draco Veritas by Cassandra Claire. Okay the whole trilogy is great, but this one is so dark and wonderfully characterized that I love it. I love too that love is so ambiguous in this in that the whole group of characters--Draco, Harry, Hermione, Ginny, Ron--are so interwoven that it's impossible to figure out who ends up with whom. Warnings: very dark, not finished, and author takes a bit of time between updates.
Underwater Light by Maya. Draco/Harry. I love Maya's Draco. He's still so bratty and obnoxious, but still lovable and someone you'd want on your side. It's just how I would love to see Draco evolve. THIS STORY IS FINISHED NOW AND MUST BE READ!
Pride and Honor by Sharina. Draco/Ginny. Eek gads. This story...brilliant...wonderful...happiness. I love the way Shai has depicted Ginny here. I'm not a huge Canon!Ginny fan, but Sharina makes me rethink that in fanon. Not finished as of yet because Shai dared to get a life and leave us waiting. But waiting I am.
Awaken by ignited. Remus/Sirius. Apocalyptic fiction with the truly canon pairing! I love my Harry Potter angst and this delivers in heaps!
Sing My Heart by anniesj. Remus/Sirius. It's set after Goblet of Fire and it's just...so nicely written. Sirius remembering his life via music.
True Heir by ethrosdemon. Harry/Draco AU. Harry meets Draco on the platform his first year rather than Ron. Harry gets sorted into Slytherin instead. Harry becomes a raging psycho. Dark read, but lovely all the same.
Imitation of Life by ashkitty. Harry/Draco post Hogwarts. Draco was accused of rescuing his father and loses everything. Comes to Harry. Wonderful angst. Love it.
From This Day Forward by rynne. James/Lily. Set during the months leading up to their wedding, James worries, frets, and is ultimately happy with his decision. There isn't enough James/Lily in my opinion
**
A Hawaiian Family Thing by Cori Lannam. Chris/Danny. In Hawaii, all the ohana can be a bit much, especially at Christmas. Just ask Danny Edwards.
Crash and Burn by Mady Bay. Chris/Danny. This reads like one of the two detectives crazy adventures on the show.
Process of Illumination by Kaethe. Chris/Danny. Danny doesn't do relationships, and Chris gets tired of waiting which leads to jealousy and fun. Will warn that this is a definite NC-17 story.
**
Goodnight Moon by Yahtzee. Written for the Day After Tomorrow challenge from the JoA perspective. It's really sad, but wonderful and all the things about Joan of Arcadia that I love.
The Five Stages by Rachel Wilder. Only three of the five stages are posted as of yet, but each works as an individual story that does not require the other. It's great looks into each character in the Girardi family's POV.
Prom Night by Ladybug218. (Grace/Luke) - It's more about Grace getting ready for prom with the help of Joan and Beth. Perfect Grace voice with some wonderings that I, myself, entertain from time to time.
Beautiful and Broken by Northlight. It's the making of Joanith told through Judith's eyes. Never really was a fan of Judith until the very end, but this story really gives her life.
The Thundering Waves by dragonsinger. Joan/Adam, Luke/Grace. What I love about this fic is how simple and sweet it is. Especially after season 2, I like reading something like this. Highly enjoyable.
**
Five Views of an Ending by Andraste. Different views of how Charlie's drug habit was handled on the show. Each is an interesting look at the verious characters and it's bloody brilliant. Will warn that it's a definite R story.
**
King and Whistler by Mystic83. Blade Trinity - King/Whistler - A story set through a number of years - how King came to be rescued by Abby, how they worked together, and how things ended after the movie was done.
Tragedy Among the Scholars of War by Charli J. Igby Goes Down - Oliver, Igby. First let me warn, there is incest at the end, which is not my normal thing, but the story is an interesting look inside Oliver's head and being Igby's brother. Definite interesting read.
Just an Ordinary Evening by Nyx. Boondock Saints. Connor, Murphy. The dialogue in this story is worthy of reading in and of itself, but it also nails the relationship between Connor and Murphy so well. Connor bitched and moaned as he half-dragged a limping Murphy into their filthy apartment, slightly bowing under the weight of his twin. "Now you repeat after me, ya bastard: We do not jump in front of a gun, for fucking bad things come out of the fucking barrel!!!"
Leave Emotion at the Door by hackthis. Ocean's Eleven. Danny/Rusty, Rusty/Linus. Interwoven with Danny & Rusty backstory, this story deals with Rusty's feelings after Danny is released from prison.
How To Draw Out the Bluff by ladybug218. Ocean's Eleven. Danny/Rusty/Tess. Her take on how Tess came into the picture and managed to ruin all that was Danny/Rusty for the time being is spot on. Wonderful piece. The history books are full of stories of women causing the downfall of great men. Eve tempted Adam in the Garden of Eden, Delilah cut off Sampsons hair, Helen brought down the entire Trojan empire; the list goes on and on. Danny Ocean, the best con man in the United States, had just been added to that list, much to the dismay of his best friend and partner in crime, Rusty Ryan.
Cherchez la femme by victoria p. Ocean's Eleven/Twelve. Danny/Rusty. Danny is looking for a diamond, and he keeps coming up with glass. This fic goes through the history of the Danny/Rusty relationship and it reads so beautifully. This author has a stronghold on these characters and the dynamic between them. Probably the best story I've ever read in this fandom.
Not Just for Money by wadiekin. Ocean's Eleven/Twelve. Danny/Rusty. Okay, yeah, again, written for me, but it's wonderful. Set Pre-Ocean's Eleven and focuses on the fight that occurred between the two of them before Danny got busted.
From Mathematics Further Off by amatia. Ocean's Eleven/Twelve. Danny, Linus. This piece fits like it could be a missing scene from OC11. All about Danny's visit to Chicago to offer Linus the job. Wonderful.
The Morning After/The Night Before by sangga. Blade Trinity - King/Whistler. The story of Hannibal King before and after the movie - the King voice here is amazing and I love the way the ship comes to pass in this story.
**
The Man Who Sold the World by hackthis. RPS - Hayden/Ewan. All of hackthis' Hayden/Ewan stuff is wonderful, but I truly adored this one. And I'm not even that into either actor - but it's very hot all the same.
Made For Two by Strawberry. RPS - Dom Monaghan/Elijah Wood. It's fluffy and cute and the sort of pick me up we all need every now and then. Dom and Elijah go camping. Hee.
**
My Little Mary by Steph (Miss Storyteller). Chris story. My favorite of all het novel-length stories. Best friends interrupted. Sappy, wonderful story.
I'll Be There by AmyK. Justin story with all the guys. Very sad, but very enjoyable. It's a hard balance-writing sad stuff without being overtly cheesy-and Amy does it wonderfully. I'd recommend a lot more of her stuff as well. Multi-chapter.
A Short Story of A Lonely Guy by Sarah. JC story. Gah. So sad and wonderful at the same time. Warning: it's a death fic.
First Knight by Patty. Lance and OFC. The friends plot but done so well that who cares? Isn't that the sign of a good writer? Someone who can take something common and create something great? Multi-chapter.
And So It Goes by Cherries. Lance (oh, I love this boy). It's a long story, several chapters, but definitely worth it.
**
And I See you by M.F. Luder. Ryan/Seth. Set pre-pilot. A different take on how Ryan could've come into the Cohens lives. I truly enjoyed this story and not just because I beta'd it. Heh. Definitely recommend if you like Ryan/Seth stuff.
Go by M.F. Luder. Ryan/Seth. Teresa's POV. An interesting take on how she reacts to things that happen post-season one finale.
The Cuteness That Is by kiki_miserychic. Short Piece. Seth at the mall shopping with Summer. So cute and fluffy and full of Seth!
Welcome to the Fallout by hackthis. Short Piece. Seth POV with season two speculation. It's hysterical and the voice is perfect. Plus I love her ideas for what could happen.
Skinnydipping by Bonnie D. Seth and Ryan take a hike, decide to cool off, get everything stolen, and fun ensues. Fun read because sometimes angst is overrated.
Little Jewish Lawyers Have Big Ears by ficklemuse. Sandy's eavesdropping and he learns a little bit about Seth and Ryan. Sandy Cohen wasn't inherently an eavesdropper. Not usually. But when confronted with the six most feared words in any father's vocabulary he didn't have a choice but listen. "My parents don't need to know."
Superhero
(Part I)
Superhero
(Part II) by Little Vera. Seth/Ryan. Oh the angst.
Seth and Ryan are already a couple in this, but thanks to their past
love lives, things get a bit hairy. It's just...really, really good
and angsty. Have I mentioned the angst?
An architect, a comic book artist and a fashion designer walk into a bar... by kissingchaos. Summer POV, mentionings of Seth/Ryan. This is a future fic and it's wonderful. Summer is roommates with everyone's favorite OTP, Seth/Ryan. This is a worthwhile voice simply for the Summer voice in this thing. Perfect.
Breathe by Maud. Ryan-centric after season two finale. This story is written in perfect and graceful prose - one of those types of stories that you love and hate because you didn't write it. Set after the finale of season two (so spoilers through season two), Ryan comes to terms with his feelings toward his brother and pays a visit to his mother.
**
The Gods Must Be Crazy by Elisabeth. I love Elisabeth's Michael and Maria. It's very fluffy without straying from who the characters are. Short and sweet...like candy.
A Life More Ordinary by Julianka. It starts out as mostly Michael/Maria oriented, but I think it has a bit on all the couples. Maria, Alex, and Kyle form a club to get away from all the alien angst. It's funny and a wonderfully light read of goodness.
In Flanders Field by bitchygurl. Michael/Maria. This was written off a prompt request I made of her and it's fabulous. The Michael/Maria relationship is understated and yet glaringly obvious. Wonderful short read.
Half-Alien Vs. Feline by carrielh. Michael/Maria. For someone who claims she's never written M/M before, this story is everything the pairing should be. Set after graduation.
**
Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics by scrunchy. (Dan/Casey) All of Scrunchy's stories are wonderfully written within the world of Sports Night, but I think this is my favorite. I love the way Dan pines away after Casey in this. Gah.
Intentions by Celli. Dan on a date. Casey explaining who Dan's family is to the date. Short and sweet. Love my boys. All the time.
Yes, No and Maybe by Annie. Dan/Casey. Dan's officially not dating as part of his therapy. Again, how I love my boys and I love when someone writes them well.
The Olympic Spirit by freedomfry. No pairing. But it's Dan and Casey banter set while the 2004 Olympic Gymnastics All-Round is going on. Funny and the banter is perfect.
Possibly Maybe by geekwriter. Dan, Casey friendship. It reads like an episode of the show with the quirky talk, but what really gets me is how wonderful the Dan and Casey friendship dynamic is here.
Diversionary Tactics by shrift. Dan/Casey. There is some Dan/Casey in this story at the end, but this another one of those stories that really nails the friendship between the two of them. This one is set near the end of season two as the two of them are trying to get past their fighting and get back on track. It's funny, sweet, and wonderful.
Thursday the 12th by scrunchy. General from Dan's POV. It seems everyone on the Sports Night crew is having a very bad day. this story is hysterical, the characters are dead-on, and oh the love I have for it. go read.
Getting Off On a Technicality by Nestra. Dan/Casey. Takes place after the series ends. Wonderful fic, so much that I don't really know what to say except, "READ IT, YO!"
The Smile In Your Eyes by lordess renegade. Dan/Casey. After the series, set at a wedding, with the usual clueless Dan and Casey both worrying about each other and feeling things they don't think the other feels. Perfect.
**
Rosebud by Auburn. Rodney McKay. Slight McKay/Sheppard. Warning: it's deathfic. Yes, that's right. Deathfic, but really good deathfic and the angst - oh jeebus. It's an amazing fic.
No Refunds or Exchanges by astolat. McKay/Sheppard. Written for the Harlequin Challenge at SGA Flashfic, this is a fun, raunchy piece that just makes me happy to read.
Eight Days by Bone. Sheppard/Ronon. This story is set as Ronon joins the others on Atlantis and develops a rapport with Sheppard. The characters are wonderful and in the next two sections, hotness ensues. After finishing this one, there are two more stories: Distraction and Protection. All are hot and wonderful. Go read.
**
You Are Now Leaving Stanford by Tracy. Set pre-show, Dean and his father have just dropped Sam off at college and Dean tries to make sense of it. I loved Dean's voice in this and it's definitely one of those "wouldn't it be nice if this was how it had been" fics.
Ghosts and Demons by estrella30. Set after pilot as the boys make their way to their next destination. Sam tries to come to terms with the decision he's made, but finds himself comforted by his brother's presence.
**
Written on the Body by gardinha. Veronica/Logan. As both try to deal with the loss of Lilly and how they're enemies now, a weird relationship forms. Yeah, I'm a V/L shipper. I can't help it. I love Logan.
Sucker Love by SINAddict. Veronica/Logan, Lilly/Logan. Logan knows that he and Veronica are alike and it binds them together after Lilly's death.
This Is About Lilly by Nina. Veronica. Veronica realizes how Lilly's life and death have affected her. "At the outset, it all seemed so normal. Just a joke, right? Except it wasn't. It was partly why Lilly insisted Veronica was strapless red satin. Partly why Lilly picked her as a friend. Partly what Lilly knew was there: Guts, wit and sparks." - Great short read.
The Comeback- The Vanity Fair Profile by yahtzee63. General. Set after season one, it's an article written about the aftermath of the Lilly Kane murder. Cynical, painful, and that's mostly because it's a definite possibility.
**
A Winning Strategy Series by Jo and Ryo. (Josh/Donna). All of their stuff is faboo and so wonderfully sorkin-like (remember him? he used to write the show?) that it just makes me squee with joy. Set after In The Shadow of Two Gunmen, Josh and Donna get married and it follows them through keeping it a secret and such. I love it. Some angst, some humor, and some perfect Josh Lyman moments.
Mysteries and Scandals by Em Meredith . Senior staff unwinding from a long day by playing detective. True to the fun that can be West Wing at times.
Initial Conditions by Annie. Josh/Sam. Sam has a sleepless night and ends up at Josh's front door. Wonderfully written short.
The Thinner the Skin by Jane St. Clair. Josh/Sam. As Josh recovers from his injuries after Shadow of Two Gunmen, he spends a lot of time with Sam. The writing here is just beautiful.
For the Love of the Game by Macha. CJ-Centric. Set during the first primary election, CJ tries to clean up her own mistake and prove to the boys that she can handle herself. It's got banter and CJ rocks!
Old Masters by witchofthedogs. Josh and Leo. Leo being paternal to Josh is one of my favorite things and it rings so true for both the characters that I just can't help but adore this story.
A Decade on Interstate Five by out_there. Josh and the gang. During the first campaign, stuck in traffic on the buses, Josh is left with Sam, who keeps talking about animals and rainforests and all that stuff. The banter rocks.
**
Songs of Wayfarer by marguerite. Rogue/Logan. Told through a series of emails. The characters are perfectly in character and it makes complete sense that the two of them end up together.
In Alaska by katherine. Rogue/Logan. I don't know what to say about this except that it's fantabulous and everyone should read! Right now!
