Background
Emma became Immortal at the age of 21 when she was thrown off a ship by her conniving husband. Grace found her and fished her out of the ocean. At first, Emma was extremely spoiled and uninterested in learning to defend herself. Eventually, she transitioned from simpering to strong, learning to take responsibility for her own life. During her training, she fell in love with literature. She voraciously read every book in Grace's library. When she ran out of books, she began to write her own. Over the years, she befriended other Immortals, like Methos, and eventually sheltered Richie when Duncan went mad.
